Buhari Sacks NNPC Subsidiaries; Downsizes Staff Strength

The ongoing overhaul exercise in Nigerian

National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) continues

Tuesday as President Muhammadu Buhari, fired

the Managing Directors of the oil giant

subsidiaries.

In a media statement, by the NNPC

Spokesperson, Mr. Ohi Alegbe, Buhari equally

retired 38 management staff of the corporation,

now leaving the staff strength at 83 from the

former 122 workforce.
