Senate moves to suspend six senators

Abuja - The leadership of the Senate has concluded plans to suspend six senators for their involvement in a recent petition to the police over alleged forgery of Senate rules, reports Vanguard.
The six senators have been accused of breaching the rule of not just the Senate in particular but also the National Assembly in general.
They are expected to be placed on indefinite suspension pending the submission of an investigation into allegations against them.

Among the six senators are: Senator Kabiru Marafa, representing Zamfara Central and Suleiman Hunkuyi, representing Kaduna North.
