Corruption: Buhari Probes Jonathan’s Adviser On Niger Delta, Kingsley Kuku

 The
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
(EFCC) has summoned ex-president Goodluck
Jonathon’s adviser on Niger-Delta for questioning
over allegation of stealing and embezzlement of
government funds while in office.
A letter written by the EFCC ordered Kuku and
two other persons to appear before the
commission next week to answer questions
about ongoing investigations against them.
“The Commission is conducting an inquiry into a
case of conspiracy, stealing, diversion of public
funds and abuse of office involving you.
“In view of the above, you are kindly requested to
be interviewed by the undersigned through Chris
Owobu on Tuesday 28th July 2015 at No. 5 Block
C Fomella Street, off Adetokunbo Ademola
Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja, at 10 am.
“Kindly accept the assurances of the Executive
Chairman’s best wishes and highest regards,
please.” the EFCC letter reads
African Examiner’s correspondent gathered that
Kuku’s probe may center around Jonathan’s
controversial amnesty program which was fraught
with massive embezzlement and corruption. Mr
Kuku was in charge of the amnesty program.
Recall that Buhari’s administration has so moved
against Jonathan’s National Security Adviser
(NSA), Chief Security Officer (CSO) as well as his
former ADC over allegation of frauds and
embezzlement while in office.
